Office Manager

This is a great opportunity to join JDL Group, an up and coming Managed Services Provider and Value  Added Reseller to the IT industry. JDL Group is corporately located in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

We are looking for a dynamic leader that independently can run the day to day operations of our Main Office. This person would be the Office Manager/Marketing Coordinator. The person in this position will be responsible for maintaining an environment that is positive and efficient, and meets the standards set in accordance with The JDL Group’s policies and procedures. This position supports multiple levels within the organization and requires having excellent interpersonal skills, as well as customer service experience. We are looking for a candidate that is creative, motivated and possesses exceptional time management skills. Strong computer and technology skills are also an integral part of this position. Experience should include working with all Microsoft products, database management systems, web site management, CRM Systems, and the ability to quickly learn new software programs. Additional day-to-day responsibilities include working with JDL’s marketing company to learn and understand current marketing programs and procedures, assist in developing and managing on going marketing plan for JDL Group, including but not limited to email campaigns, social media campaigns and live events.

Senior Account Manager

A great opportunity to advance your career in the IT industry with a growing young IT provider. As Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for direct sales of IT Solutions focused on infrastructure hardware and services, Managed Security Services, and traditional professional services. Sales shall be particularly focused to executives in the small to medium enterprise and the Public Sector space.

The Senior Account Manager should be able to manage a territory and be responsible for a predefined quota in both network and Security product resale and consulting services. This will include strategy, design, implementation, network, and managed security services. Strong selling skills as they relate to Managed services, Networks and Security sales with existing and new clients are extremely important.

To achieve this, the Senior Account Manager will need to find potential new customers, present to them, convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future. They will also help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive. They will call on clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients’ future needs.

The chosen candidate will work with management to develop account strategy, close contracts and maintain excellent client relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales objectives primarily through sales to new customers and through sales of additional services to existing customers.
  • Prospect for potential new clients and convert them into increased business.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Close new business by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service.
  • Convert existing accounts to a Managed Service Agreement

Job Requirements and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling IT solutions to small and medium commercial accounts
  • Proven experience with transactional technology hardware, software, licensing, integration and SME and Corporate managed services recurring revenue models experience
  • Track record of growing existing and new customer revenue
  • Ability to build strong internal and customer-focused relationships
  • PC proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM
  • Ability to simplify the explanation of complex technology concepts to prospects and customers
  • Exhibit mastery of the various Steps within Sales Process.
  • Obsession with results and accountability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively work with various departments and levels.

Compensation:

Generous compensation plans that are structured as base salary plus commissions for meeting and exceeding sales goals with initial compensation commensurate with relevant experience.

Solution Architect

Is responsible to create an environment that delivers exceptional “Fit to Purpose” infrastructure technologies for clients. The Solution Architect must have the abilities to challenge the status quo both technically and operationally. Candidate will provide the following:

  • Demonstrate strong technical sales for customers and sales teams through effective communication of the technical and business message
  • Successfully lead complex customer engagements, bridging between the needs of the customer and the company offered solution
  • Successfully lead and oversee assessments to gather the necessary information to design solutions for client business problems.
  • Provide training and mentoring to other Engineers as they progress in mastering their professional skills and as they learn company and industry best practices
  • Lead efforts to document customer needs during the sales process to deliver accurate and complete Statement of Work (SOW)

Essential duties:

  • Profit & Loss (P&L) management of account budget plan
  • Work with Sales Account Teams to provide technical and business expertise so that JDL group’s service offerings and technical capabilities are maximized on each customer engagement.
  • Proposed solutions that exceed customer expectations and meet technical requirements
  • Create Scope of Work that accurate represent target schedule milestones and budgets.
  • Provide technical, project, and relationship management for customer engagements
  • Provide thought leadership and Best-of-breed insight to the Sales teams and service level delivery teams
  • Demonstrated proficiency in delivering technical presentation to large and diverse audiences.
  • Drive additional profitable growth within the existing account

Required skills:

  • Have a high degree of competency in two or more technical areas: Data Center systems, Virtualization Design, Cloud Architecture, Enterprise Networking, Security and a working knowledge in several other related areas
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant professional and senior level experience, including previous technical management background
  • Specialization in Pre-sales activities
  • Know how to gather, compile, and analyze data to make practical recommendations at the tactical or strategic level to executive management
  • Strong sales support skills, recognizing client needs for current and follow-on opportunities, gains customer respect, and possesses good relationship building skills
  • Exceptional communications capabilities, including leveraging other people, giving presentations, and speaking publicly
  • Initiative and ability to work in a self-directed manner

Desired skills:

  • Experience with recurring revenue solutions or services especially in the cyber security space.
  • Experience in Government Contracting role and responding to RFP/RFI
  • BS/BA and 5years relevant experience that include team leader experience with Customer engagements
  • Multiple Vendors certifications
